Privacy Notice

Applies to the PrivMatrix readiness check on this website. Last updated 2 August 2026.

This notice explains what personal data we collect when you use the PrivMatrix privacy-readiness check, why we collect it, the legal bases we rely on, how long we keep it and the rights you have. We hold ourselves to the same standards the check measures.

Who is responsible for your data

The controller of the data collected through this check is Omegamatrix Software Computer Trading LLC SPC, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact info@omega-cst.com.

Your IP address and the page you arrived fromAutomatically, on the serverSecurity, preventing abuse and rough location context
A first-party session identifier stored in your browserWhen the check loadsTo keep your session together and avoid creating duplicate records
We store the website address as soon as you type it, before you submit anything, so we can follow up even if you do not finish. We rely on our legitimate interest in business-to-business outreach for this, and you can object at any time using the contact above. Your name, email and other contact details are only stored if you tick the box and submit the form, and we rely on your consent for that.

The legal bases we rely on

Where a market you operate in does not recognise legitimate interest as a basis, we rely on your consent instead.

Cookies and browser storage

The check does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not load third-party trackers. It stores a single first-party identifier in your browser so your answers stay in one session and we do not create duplicate records. Because this is strictly functional and not used for tracking, the check does not show a cookie-consent banner. If you clear your browser storage, the identifier is removed.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for third-party advertising. Your data is stored with our hosting provider, which processes it on our instructions. We may share it with professional advisers or authorities where the law requires.

Where your data is held

Your data is stored on servers located in the United Kingdom, a jurisdiction the EU and other regulators recognise as providing an adequate level of data protection. If you contact us from another region, your data may be transferred to and processed there. Where a transfer needs a safeguard, we put an appropriate one in place, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep assessment records and contact details for up to 2 years from your last activity. After that we mark the record as deleted so it no longer appears in our working systems. We may retain a minimal archived copy beyond that point only where a legal, tax or regulatory obligation requires it, or to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim, and we delete it once that need ends. Where a website address was captured but the check was never completed and you never made contact, the same 2 year limit applies.

Your rights

Depending on your location you may have the right to access the data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to object to or restrict its use, to withdraw consent and to receive a copy in a portable form. To exercise any of these, email info@omega-cst.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as the check evolves. The date at the top shows the current version.
